He was also responsible for compiling news stories of interest, ensuring the community stayed informed.
In addition to his on-air duties, Pieter assisted with marketing efforts and contributed to and managed the Plett Breakfast Show stream into Knysna FM on weekday mornings from 6:00 to 7:45.
Pieter served as National Marketing Manager at GO Life Health Products Ltd (March 2009 – January 2013), leading product restaging, packaging consolidation, and in-store branding initiatives. He developed and implemented brand strategies, ATL and BTL marketing campaigns, and launched the GO BUDDY Project as part of the company’s Corporate Social Investment efforts. Additionally, Pieter facilitated sales and promoter training and oversaw social media marketing plans.
Pieter was the owner of PAC Produksies in Knysna (November 2004 – February 2009), specialising in in-store activations and promotions for notable clients such as The Creative Counsel, Pernod Ricard, Distell, Jane Simon Wines, and Coca-Cola. Pieter also provided public relations consulting, advising companies on effective communication strategies to align with their target audiences and business objectives. His work combined creativity and strategic insight to deliver engaging campaigns and enhance brand presence.
