Louise Carver and Ross Learmonth will be performing at Stanford Hills Estate on January 3rd. This is Carver’s fifth concert to welcome in the new year at this beautiful estate, which lies at the foot of the Klein River Mountains. Carver says: “This is becoming a tradition for me. Playing all my hits on a protea farm with vineyards and orchards is a beautiful way to start the year. I am so excited that Ross Learmonth will be joining me for the 2020 concert, it is going to be a special one!”
Both Carver and Learmonth are known as two of South Africa’s most popular artists. Having had 40 Top 10 hits between them over the years, this exclusive show will be filled with music South Africans know and love. The performances will include collaborations with both artists singing and performing on each other’s songs (there are also some surprise covers in the works).
Louise Carver has had multiple radio hits with singles such as ‘Empty Fantasy’, ‘Home’ and ‘Warrior feat. Zulu Boy’. Internationally, she has had two number one European hits and two US Billboard number ones, with ‘Sunrise’, and ‘Crazy Enough.’ Apart from the chart success, Louise has been nominated for eleven South African music awards, produced six studio albums, one live album, and was a 46664 ambassador for the Nelson Mandela foundation.
In 2018 Carver started *Carver Entertainment, a live music events company. “I noticed a gap in the market for live music shows outside of clubs or at big festivals. It was a desire of mine to perform at venues that my fans will also love.”
After nearly two decades of touring and recording, the formidable Ross Learmonth is about to embark on a series of solo shows titled ‘Bare Bones’ – an exclusive journey detailing the description and explanation of the song writing, stories and events that led to Learmonth’s success as Prime Circle’s frontman. It will be the first time that Learmonth ventures out on his own and a solo album is on the cards for 2020.
